WMSA membership fees for 2025 (1st January to 31st December) are as follows:
- Adults: £10
£5 if payment received on or after 1st August 2025. - Life Members: Free
- Juniors (under 18 on 1st January, 2025): Free
We also have a ‘Partner’ category of membership. This is applicable to any partner of a member residing at the same address (as is the case with the BMFA Family Partner membership). This category of membership is £5 and reducing to £2.50 after the 1st August 2025.
Please note that BMFA insurance is compulsory for all members. If you already have arranged BMFA membership for 2025 (by joining another BMFA affiliated club or personal membership), then you do not need to join again, but must quote your BMFA membership number when applying for WMSA membership.
BMFA membership (including insurance) for the year 2025 is as follows:
- Adults: £49
- Juniors: £20 (must be under 18 on 1st January 2025)
- Full Time Student: £20
- Non-Flying membership: £20
- Family membership: First Adult £49, Partner £30, Junior £15.
As you will know there is new annual charge of £11.13 payable to the CAA for Drone & Model Aircraft registration. The BMFA have offered to collect this fee and pay the CAA on your behalf providing you agree with the BMFA sharing your details with the CAA. You can also pay this fee to the WMSA and I will pay the BMFA on your behalf.
