Welcome to the West Mendip Soaring Association Website

The West Mendip Soaring Association (WMSA) is a club whose members love to build and fly radio controlled model gliders.

Our primary flying site is near the top of Crook Peak, a famous landmark overlooking the M5 motorway that cuts through the western end of the Mendip Hills that run between Weston-Super-Mare and Cheddar. Look at our Location page for details of how to find this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).

If you are new to radio controlled model gliding or want to find out more about possibly learning to fly a radio controlled model glider, then please contact a WMSA committee member on the Contact Us page. Any of the committee will be more than happy to answer any of your questions.

Should you wish to become a member of the WMSA, then details of the cost of membership can be found on our Join Us page.

Our photo gallery pages show images and videos of some of the models we fly, some of our members and the beautiful area in which we fly our models.
